The house system at Parkwood has four houses. They are Milne, Falconer, Grant and Colman.

The four houses are strongly competing this year, with very close running totals, although Milne are looking consistently strong, with fantastic encouragement from their leaders and a broad base of participation. We have seen great enthusiasm for dressing up for sports days and more and more students are claiming points for the exceptional things they achieve both in and beyond the classroom.

NEW MERIT POINTS

In Term 3, we have a new merit point system adding to the Four Quarters Cup, where teachers will give merit points for a whole range of positive things our students do on a regular basis, from helping out others to doing their best in assessment tasks. The merit points will accumulate throughout the year, for bronze, silver and gold certificates in their own right, as well as adding to the totals for the Four Quarters Cup.
